Overview

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Engineer within our Sales Division at Thessaloniki. The position reports to the Customer Technical Support Manager. The primary scope of this role is to provide technical support to customers and the sales network, ensuring high-quality service, promoting sustainability, and supporting the development of new projects and products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers of the Sales Division on quality-related matters, including mix design, laboratory testing, new cement/concrete-based products, and updates on standards and regulations
  • Monitor cement/concrete market characteristics, collect and analyze samples, and report on changes
  • Handle customer inquiries related to product quality in collaboration with Quality Control and Sales Technical Support teams
  • Prepare monthly reports on customer inquiries, covering investigations, corrective actions, evaluations, product characteristics, and cement/concrete quality distribution
  • Monitor product characteristics and collaborate with Quality Control to ensure consistent quality
  • Train and support the Sales Division network on products, applications, and competitive advantages
  • Participate in research initiatives and specialized seminars to introduce new technologies and know-how to customers
  • Prepare specialized statistical reports (e.g., strengths, consumption trends) using dedicated software
  • Educate customers and partners in the use of non-destructive testing equipment and methods
  • Provide technical support on sustainable development, decarbonization, and circular economy topics for production activities and construction projects
  • Support customers and internal teams in green certifications, sustainability projects, and environmental impact communication

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil, Chemical) or in Geology/Chemistry
  • 5+ years of experience in concrete technology or the construction sector
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices, environmental product declarations, and life cycle assessment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, and a broad technical knowledge base
  • Proficiency in English and IT tools
  • Proactive, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and customers across Greece
