Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Officer — a dynamic, organized, and proactive professional to support our main accountant and handle day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage payments, bookkeeping, and reporting tasks independently. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced luxury environment and contributing to the smooth running of a high-end yacht charter business.

Key Responsibilities


• Payments & Invoices: Process and record payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.


• Cash Flow & Payments: Manage client payments, invoices, yacht operating costs, and vendor transactions efficiently.


• Financial Records: Maintain accurate bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, and support reporting.


• Contract Review: Collaborate with the charter team to review agreements, ensuring accurate financial terms and risk mitigation.


• Compliance: Ensure all financial procedures and documentation comply with company policies and regulations.


• Collaboration: Liaise with charter, operations, and management teams to ensure smooth financial workflows.


• Support for Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, expense reports, and basic analysis for management.

Qualifications & Skills


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master's degree a plus.


• Previous experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, preferably in luxury travel, hospitality, shipping, or yacht charter operations.


• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial colleagues.


• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel

• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.


• Willingness to occasionally travel for yacht visits or financial operations as needed.
