Position Summary

The Packaging Supervisor will oversee daily packaging operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and safety. This role involves managing a team of packaging operators, maintaining packaging schedules, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the packaging line to meet production targets.

  • Train, lead, and evaluate packaging team members.

  • Monitor packaging processes for efficiency and compliance with company standards.

  • Ensure all finished products are packaged according to quality specifications and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of packaging equipment and work areas.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Control and Production departments to resolve any issues related to packaging quality or performance.

  • Maintain accurate packaging and inventory records.

  • Implement and enforce safety policies and ensure all employees follow safety procedures.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce waste.

Requirements

  • University or Technical College Graduate (AEI or TEI) with a specialisation in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing environments on packaging area, preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food sector.

  • Experience in the use of ERP & WMS systems in Production & Warehouse modules.

  • Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficient with MS Office and ERP/WMS systems
