Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results oriented Buyer to join our dynamic Procurement & Logistics team. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the category management of a portfolio of our indirect spend, focusing on long-term value, transparency and operation efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on strategic sourcing initiatives through detailed category management.
  • Continuously gather, analyze and act upon market intelligence to ensure the best value for the Group.
  • Building a resilient and competitive supplier ecosystem for the Group.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and vendor performances securing favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage Purchase Order's and oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver related KPI's measuring results on various procurement elements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, supply chain or a related field. An advanced degree (MSc, MBA or equivalent) is welcomed.
  • Procurement experience within the medical /healthcare sector will be considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong experience with SAP usage and procurement software.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a buyer
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a complex environment
  • Proven track of cost savings and process improvement initiatives.
