About The Role
We are looking for a
Senior Pre-Sales Engineer
to be responsible for providing technical support to the commercial department, developing technical solutions and preparing proposals.
The role combines technical expertise with commercial awareness, aiming to support the development of new projects and ensure their successful completion.
During Your Day, You Will
- Design and cost technical solutions for company's systems and solutions, in collaboration with technical department and/or external partners
- Prepare and draft commercial proposals, in cooperation with the sales department
- Maintain regular communication with clients, in collaboration with the sales team, to monitor proposal progress and increase the likelihood of project award
- Support the drafting of supply contracts, ensuring that terms meet client requirements, align with the offered solutions and comply with the company's regulatory framework
- Consult with the Technical Department to define the technical specifications to be included in contracts, covering products, services, and applications
- Support the commercial team in presentations, RFPs, and technical proposals during the pre-sales phase
- Monitor market trends and technological developments to strengthen the company's competitiveness
- Provide updates to the Finance Department regarding contract payments, invoicing, non-billable expenses, and additional costs
- Manage physical and electronic proposals and contracts records, ensuring organization and accessibility of information
- Participate in shaping the commercial strategy and support high-value project negotiations
Working Relationships
Internal: Collaboration with the Technical Department, Commercial Department, Finance Department, and Project Management
- External: Communication with clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors
To Be a Fit, You Will Need
- University or Technical degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Excellent command of English
- Professional experience in pre-sales, technical sales or technical support roles in commercial projects.
- Experience in designing and/or costing technical solutions related to automation, control, and monitoring systems for energy facilities and infrastructure
- Experience in B2B client communication, proposal follow-up, and support in negotiations
- Participation in RFP/RFI processes, proposal drafting, and technical documentation
