Business Context & Main Job Purpose:

The Logistics Specialist assumes a pivotal role within our organization by meticulously overseeing and orchestrating the daily planning and flawless execution of a wide spectrum of logistics and transportation activities. This critical function involves reporting directly to the Transportation Manager, ensuring seamless coordination and optimization of our logistical operations.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Facilitating the coordination of transportation services and strategically planning optimal routes.
  • Serving as a liaison between executive management, drivers, and valued customers to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
  • Engaging in collaborative efforts with internal departments to enhance and optimize transportation services.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of hauler performance, addressing customer inquiries, and promptly resolving any concerns or complaints with a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Master's degree in supply chain or Logistics will be a plus. 
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Supply Chain/Customer Service/Logistics position. 
  • SAP/ERP systems experience will be highly evaluated. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
