About the Role

Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually.

As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, we are looking for a dynamic and creative Communications & PR Specialist to join the Business Development & Marketing team. The role is responsible for developing and executing the company's communications and public relations strategy to support both B2C and B2B objectives. The position contributes to enhancing the brand's public image, increasing commercial impact and supporting marketing activations and content launches.

Job Description 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and PR strategy aligned with marketing and business goals
• Design and manage PR campaigns for movie releases, alternative content, services and brand initiatives
• Oversee communication across traditional and digital channels (press, social media, newsletters, website)
• Support the marketing and communication of newly released local productions
• Craft tailored content for consumer, corporate, and internal communications
• Coordinate with Antenna Group business entities for joint communication efforts
• Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and content creators
• Act as the point of contact for media inquiries, interviews, and public statements
• Manage brand reputation and support crisis communication if needed
• Organize special events and manage promotional partnerships
• Collaborate with Sales and Programming teams on promotional needs
• Monitor communication performance and prepare regular reports and presentations
• Lead internal communications and employee events
• Support new business initiatives and launch new services/content
• Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and audience behavior insights

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar PR or communications role (preferably in the entertainment, media, or cultural sectors)
• Proven experience in both consumer-facing and corporate PR environments
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both Greek and English
• Strong knowledge of the Greek media landscape and leading digital communication platforms
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for storytelling and content development
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with social media management tools and content scheduling platforms
• Passion for film, culture, and the entertainment industry
