Manifest Construction SA is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Site Civil Engineer to join our construction team. The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing civil engineering projects at construction sites, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to collaborate with teams and ensure project success.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage engineering works at construction sites
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Conduct site inspections and assess work for quality and conformity to standards
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve any technical issues
  • Prepare site reports, daily logs, and other documentation related to construction progress
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying any potential delays or overruns
  • Assist in the planning of construction activities, including resource allocation and scheduling
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the engineering team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate identified risks on-site
  • Manage construction materials and equipment while assuring wise usage and waste control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering or site engineering roles
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities in Greek and English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental guidelines
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license may be preferred but not required
