hotel services and overall guests' satisfaction internal and external. To demonstrate an awareness for the most
important company mission which is the guests overall experience by creating opportunities, giving feedback where
is needed and reward team members. Being responsible for the information shared in hotel department regarding
forecast, budget and overall department productivity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a steady pace, in Golf groups revenue growth – finding opportunities to promote upsell and promote hotel services.
- Develop Weddings segment under Events and establish Navarino Dunes complex as a preferred wedding destination.
- Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill.
- Assume complete responsibility for learning from initial orientation and training programs conducted when joining the Groups & Events team.
- Prepare all typed materials (proposals, Mice contracts, Commission agreements, banquet event orders, change forms and all other inter-departmental forms) accurately and thoroughly.
- Conducts site inspections for tentative/confirmed groups.
- Acts as liaison between MICE sales team and Groups & Events team, sharing important information that might affect hotel availability or operations challenges.
- Solicit feedback from the group organizers but also from the hotel departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the G&E guests' experience.
- Communicate necessary information during meetings and focus on continuous improvement.
- Forecast group sleeping rooms and event revenue for groups.
- Take initiative to use his/her experience to improve service performance according to his/her evaluation of the issue and resolution.
- Organize weekly roster according to operational needs and company objectives and perform all HR admin tasks (Scan, Leaves, DRs etc.) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times. Provide Guidance and encourage the team to do the same.
- Attend all training courses and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news. Encourage and empower team to do the same.
Requirements
- University degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field (MA/MSc preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a relevant sector (tourism, hotel services).
- At least 2 years of direct experience in Groups & Events Management. (Mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of Groups & Events operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Guest-oriented mindset with a focus on personalized service and guest satisfaction.
- Leadership and mentoring skills; experience managing and developing a team.
- Ability to liaise with other departments (Sales, Reservations, F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping).
- Competence in Opera PMS, Fidelio, and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and Greek; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to adapt in a multicultural, multinational, and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in a matrix organization with flexible hours as needed.
- Passion for luxury hospitality and exceptional guest experiences.
