We are looking for a Treasury Manager to join our Operations team

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Manager to oversee and optimize the payout operations and reconciliation processes at EveryPay. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations, managing payment flows, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve payment-related issues. This is a key position for someone with strong technical, financial, and operational expertise in payment systems.

  • Payouts Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day payout processing activities to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient payment settlements for clients.
  • Reconciliation Oversight: Manage end-to-end reconciliation processes across multiple payment channels, including credit cards, ACH, bank transfers, digital wallets, and other payment methods. Identify and resolve discrepancies between internal systems and payment processors.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Payouts & Reconciliations team, providing guidance, training, and support for ongoing improvement.
  • Payouts Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve payout workflows and reconciliation processes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Cash Flow Monitoring: Monitor and analyze daily and long-term cash flows, transactional volumes, and payment settlements to ensure efficient use of funds and overall financial health.
  • Forecasting & Funding Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast cash requirements, ensuring adequate funding for acquiring, wallets, and issuing operations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Operations, IT, Customer Support) to ensure smooth payout processing, prompt issue resolution, and adherence to financial controls.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on payout volumes, reconciliation accuracy, and operational metrics. Conduct root cause analysis on discrepancies and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that payout processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols. Identify and mitigate risks related to payout processing and financial discrepancies.
  • System Integration & Enhancements: Work closely with the IT and product teams to integrate payment solutions and enhance existing systems for better scalability and performance.
  • Client & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external payment providers, banks, and financial institutions. Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and disputes are resolved promptly.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving payment systems, compliance, and efficiency within EveryPay.

What will you need to succeed:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in payments, reconciliations, or financial operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Experience working in the fintech or PayTech sector is a significant advantage
  • Extensive experience working with payment gateways, payment processors, and financial systems
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reconciliation software and ERP and Banking systems
  • Professional certifications in payments, accounting, or finance (e.g., CPA, CTP, etc.) are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with payment regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2) and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data
  • Strong project management capabilities
