We are seeking a skilled Backend Java Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in Java programming with professional experience in backend systems, and a passion for clean, scalable, and maintainable code. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for building and maintaining high-performance web services and applications.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software testing and development.
  • Proven hands-on experience with the Spring framework, particularly Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding and experience with multi-threading, Java debugging, and RESTful web services (JSON/REST).
  • Familiarity with relational databases, specifically MySQL, and a solid grasp of database concepts.
  • Practical experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Knowledge and application of software engineering methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile processes.
  • Experience using version control systems (e.g., GIT) and build tools such as Maven.
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and verbal.
Nice to Have (Optional):
  • Experience in performance tuning or large-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
