What You 'll Be Doing:

• Participate in the industrialization of Launcher Systems and technical support of major sub-contractors.
• Involved in the setup and technical support of a major sheet metal weldment's sub-contractor as well as machine-shops.
• Analysis of Technical Data Package, Fabrication support and Validation of welding and machining jigs & fixtures.
• Creation of Manufacturing Data Package (Process-Sheets, analysis of manufacturing operations sequence, compliance with technical data package).
• Get involved with Military Standards and AWS (American Welding Society) welding process and performance qualification (PQRs, WPSs, Welder's qualification).
• Provide technical solutions to issues during the First Article Fabrication.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor/University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least five (5) years of proven working experience in design and/or manufacturing.
• Knowledge and understanding of the entire product development process.
• Materials, tooling & fabrication processes principles.
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawing rules and GD&T principles.
• Knowledge and experience of various manufacturing processes and the constraints they impose on the design.
• Familiar with the welding process & welders qualification process, International and European Welding Stds EN ISO 3834 or AWS, as well as with Visual & NDT testing of weldments.

Desired:

• Previous experience of detailed mechanical design of military products & systems.
• Knowledge of MIL Stds, Ergonomic Design, and Product Safety requirements.
• Work experience with SIEMENS NX CAD/CAE tool.
