Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support patients with mobility and movement, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the medical staff
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients during their hospital stays
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of patient areas in accordance with health standards
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to carry out patient care plans effectively
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care

Requirements

  • Experience as a care assistant in a hospital setting or similar environment is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach towards care
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow directions
  • Willingness to relocate to Ireland and adapt to the new healthcare landscape
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in healthcare support are advantageous
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes
