Accountant Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to support our Accounting Department with focus on general ledger accounting and VAT reporting.

  • Analyze financial data, prepare and post journal entries with regards to revenue, cost of goods sold, and various operational expenses.
  • Support month end and year end processes by posting accruals and reconciling Balance Sheet accounts according to internal processes.
  • Prepare VAT returns and identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and/or Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting statements and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with VAT reconciliation and preparation of returns.
