Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous approach to financial processes, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Consolidation Process: Prepare and review monthly closing activities for Greek entities;
  • Reporting Package: Prepare and deliver monthly reporting package for Greek entities;
  • Invoice Processing: Process and register invoices in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Treasury Support: Assist the Treasury team and elaborate bank remittances as required;
  • Task Review: Challenge and review the coherence of information prepared by the local team for specific transversal tasks;
  • Task Management: Ensure that transversal tasks are produced on time, complete, and accurate;
  • Audit Liaison: Liaise with external auditors and other advisors as necessary;
  • Tax Support: Collaborate with tax advisors on tax-related matters;
  • Balance Sheet Analysis: Perform thorough analysis of balance sheets on a monthly basis;
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on specific points (business related);
  • Team Support: Provide support to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in complex and dynamic work environments;
  • Greek Certified Accountant title;
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) and Greek native language;
  • Strong analytical skills and commitment to meticulously analyzing and verifying information;
  • Ability to handle pressure and availability during critical periods to meet operational demands;
  • Proficiency in SAP;
  • Ability to communicate and provide guidance in an international environment.
