Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounting procedures, including bookkeeping, invoicing and bank reconciliation.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant tax regulations is also a key responsibility of the role.
  • Daily tasks will include utilizing 'my Data' software for accounting operations.
  • Accurate record-keeping is crucial in this position, where the accountant must manage accounting records and ensure accuracy in all records.
  • Preparation and maintenance of financial statements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements is another important duty.
  • The accountant will also be responsible for managing digital card processes.
  • In addition, they will support daily accounting procedures by performing routine financial tasks.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required for this role.
  • An MSc will be considered an asset.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a relevant role is essential.
  • A 'A Class' signature (signing authority certification) is required or must be in progress.
  • Familiarity with 'my Data' software will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral, is necessary.
  • Advanced computer skills, with expertise in MS Office, are also required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive employee information is vital.
  • Strong organizational, time-management and analytical skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team environment is also required.
  • Multitasking abilities and a results-driven mindset are essential qualities for this role.
