Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Junior Finance Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Athens. This role involves gathering, interpreting, and preparing technical, financial, and economic data for strategic decision-making purposes. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior staff members across the finance, commercial, and technical functions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Update financial models using historical data and provide forecasts based on industry-related metrics.
  2. Analyze financial performance for existing and new oil and gas projects in various regions (NPV, IRR, ROI).
  3. Research industry trends, analyze economic factors such as inflation, foreign exchange rates, and commodity prices.
  4. Support in credit processes, loan monitoring, and reporting for lenders and banks.
  5. Assist in debt-raising activities, particularly company presentations, financial modeling, due diligence, and KYC processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting, banking, or advisory roles, preferably with Big Four firms or in the Oil and Gas/ Energy sector.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek languages (oral and written communication). Knowledge of Italian is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite applications, particularly Excel.
