Our organization is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Greek Accounting Standards.


Location: Kallithea, Greece

You will be reporting to: Finance Manager

What you will do:

  • Record and process purchase invoices for inventory
  • Maintain accounting records in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (GAS)
  • Issue sales invoices for goods
  • Stay up-to-date with Greek tax legislation and changes
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (VAT, payroll tax, income tax, E3, Intrastat, VIES, etc.)
  • Familiarity with procedures and forms of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the General Commercial Registry (GEMI)
  • Year-end closing
  • Collaborate with auditors for company audits
  • Support team members regarding customer balances

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics
  • Up to 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the Entersoft ERP system and MS Office
  • Good knowledge of English language
