ICAP Executive Search & Selection, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join a dynamic finance team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile accurate monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer to support the budgeting process, forecasting models, and variance analysis.
- Perform profitability and cost analysis across different products, categories, and distribution channels.
- Partner with internal departments to collect and reconcile financial data for deeper performance insights.
- Build financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
- Support accounting operations during month-end and year-end closings, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Help create dashboards and reporting tools that increase financial transparency across the organization.
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the preparation of audit-related documentation.
- Oversee essential treasury activities, including payment planning, bank reconciliations, and approval workflows.
- Participate in ERP-related initiatives, enhancing the financial reporting framework and process automation.
Candidate's Profile:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling, or reporting—preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in budgeting and financial reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Entersoft is desirable.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience working with external auditors or accounting firms.
- Advanced Excel skills, managing large datasets and building reports.
- Fluent in Greek and proficient in English (oral and written).
- High attention to detail and structured approach to work.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proactive, dependable, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
