Financial Controller Opportunity

ICAP Executive Search & Selection, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join a dynamic finance team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Compile accurate monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
Collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer to support the budgeting process, forecasting models, and variance analysis.
Perform profitability and cost analysis across different products, categories, and distribution channels.
Partner with internal departments to collect and reconcile financial data for deeper performance insights.
Build financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
Support accounting operations during month-end and year-end closings, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Help create dashboards and reporting tools that increase financial transparency across the organization.
Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the preparation of audit-related documentation.
Oversee essential treasury activities, including payment planning, bank reconciliations, and approval workflows.
Participate in ERP-related initiatives, enhancing the financial reporting framework and process automation.

Candidate's Profile:

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling, or reporting—preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
Proven track record in budgeting and financial reporting processes.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Entersoft is desirable.
Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience working with external auditors or accounting firms.
Advanced Excel skills, managing large datasets and building reports.
Fluent in Greek and proficient in English (oral and written).
High attention to detail and structured approach to work.
Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Proactive, dependable, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
