Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of our highly skilled agile teams working within large-scale transformation projects for global clients in exciting and challenging markets such as European Institutions, Telecoms, Sports Betting & Lotteries, Fintech, Healthtech Insurance, Public Domain (next-gen). As a Software System Architect, you will have the opportunity to architect the software system, defining components, modules, and their interactions while aligning with project goals and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the technology stack for Java-based enterprise applications
- Establish and manage coding standards and best practices within the development team
- Implement security best practices to safeguard the software from vulnerabilities and threats
- Ensure the software can handle increased loads and data volumes as the application expands
- Produce documentation, architectural diagrams, and design documents
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, developers, and the quality assurance team
- Provide mentorship to software engineers

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer, preferably working with Java Enterprise or Spring Boot
  • Solid knowledge of building Docker images and creating Docker containers, ensuring application deployment consistency across different environments
  • Expertise in deploying and managing containerized applications using K8s
  • Experience with Kafka for event-driven communication and data streaming
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns
  • Solid understanding of Maven for project build and dependency management
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
