Full Stack Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on the design, development, and maintenance of complex software systems.

About the Role
  • This is a hybrid opportunity in Athens with a focus on Supply Chain Finance.
  • As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating closely with Solution Architects and Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based enterprise applications.
  • Develop new UIs for API features being developed and improve and re-factor existing user-facing features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes during support and maintenance phases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in application development of enterprise IT software systems and applications.
  • Strong understanding of Java and Java Spring Framework in a commercial environment.
  • Working experience in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, jQuery, and other related front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Working experience in Web technologies and internet protocols (REST, XML, JSON, HTTP).
  • Expertise in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Ant) and CI/CD technologies (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Extensive experience with agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Relational Databases and ORM technologies (iBatis, Hibernate etc.).
  • Experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Java Servlet containers (Tomcat) and in writing unit tests (JUnit, Selenium) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering complex software projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to deliver within strict timeframes.
  • Highly motivated and eager to develop professionally.
  • Ability to work efficiently both on own initiative and within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
