Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining full stack web applications using modern .NET and JavaScript technologies.

• This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Developer to work on a range of challenging projects.

• Design and develop full stack web applications using modern .NET and JavaScript technologies.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers and other developers to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions.
• Develop and optimize back-end services using C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework and SQL databases.
• Implement front-end features using React and TypeScript, ensuring high usability and performance.
• Participate in effort estimation and planning to help scope and schedule development work accurately.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and support the design and development of scalable, modular solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring and continuous improvement of software quality and architecture.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Build and integrate APIs, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and ensure application security.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to support automated builds, deployments and monitoring.
• Contribute to and maintain high-level and technical documentation.
• Support installation, configuration, integration and maintenance of applications and components.
• Provide third-level support and maintenance when needed.
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience in full stack development with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, .NET Core).
• At least 1 year of solid front-end skills using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, with experience in state management (e.g. Redux).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and software architecture principles.
• Experience with Entity Framework (EF or EF Core).
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of modern web security practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, modular design or distributed systems is a plus.
• Experience with caching mechanisms (e.g. Redis, in-memory caching) is a plus.
• Experience with Angular is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Very good command of Greek and English languages, both written and verbal.
