Job Overview

This role involves overseeing sub-projects, conducting daily stand-ups, and reporting status to customers or project managers. Leadership within your team will be crucial, as you'll delegate tasks and assist members. A project manager will support you, enhancing your management and IT delivery skills.

You'll join an international team valuing professionalism and collaboration. Our projects include significant IT initiatives for Europe's state, municipalities, and business community.

As a Systems Expert you will:
  • Manage one or more business-critical systems, ensuring continuous monitoring and backups. This also includes scripting and tuning the platform.
  • Collaborate with other team members on security, problem solving, and process optimization, participating in safety testing and incident, problem and change management.
  • Contribute to operation projects like large-scale technology transitions, including planning and implementing specific operational tasks.
  • Utilise various cloud tooling to manage and monitor infrastructure.
  • Maintain cloud-based environments for projects based on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
  • Work with Kubernetes platforms, Managed containers, and other new technologies
  • Report tasks, activities, and SLA goals
  • Build new environments in a DevOps team.
  • Respond to customer requests, change management, incidents etc. based on ITIL practices.
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and GITOPS with Argo CD
  • Participate in project work, providing high level of availability of applications and systems based on project and SLA requirements.
  • Coach and guide junior members within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline2-3 years of hands-on experience as a system engineer, operations engineer, SRE, or DevOps engineer in a cloud environment.Commitment to staying up-to-date with new technologies and valuing knowledge sharing.Ability to structure time effectively.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Experience with Kubernetes On-prem, Azure ServicesWorking knowledge of IaC Terraform, AnsibleSolid Linux skillsKafka working knowledgeScripting languages experience (ideally Bash, PowerShell, or Python)Benefits
