Plant Production Supervisor

Job Description:
The role of a Plant Operator is to oversee the production process, ensuring it meets customer demands. This involves supervising the Air Separation Unit and performing various tasks to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the smooth production of required volumes while monitoring output and product quality.
- Taking responsibility for people, property, and environmental safety, as well as risk prevention and compliance with health regulations.
- Starting, shutting down, and adjusting equipment under the supervision of the Production Manager.
- Adjusting plant control variables and monitoring equipment parameters to meet production specifications and targets.
- Gaining knowledge of air separation theory and related equipment.
- Troubleshooting process upsets and taking corrective actions.
- Participating in maintenance and updating of plant and equipment.
- Preparing and maintaining production operations and distribution records.
- Performing daily routines such as water treatment, equipment inspection, and log sheet reading.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation/TEI or higher is required. Experience in a production line is beneficial. Good command of risk management and prevention, solid grasp of health and safety rules are essential. Soft skills include strong focus on Safety, good judgment, keen initiative, English language proficiency, and good communication skills.
