Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our team at the Prinos Oil Field. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our facilities, including the Epsilon Oil Field. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to our success, and help us achieve our goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, near-misses, and hazardous events, and conduct thorough investigations;
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures;
• Monitor and report on OHS performance metrics and trends;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of business-wide HSE strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Mining Engineering or Mineral Resources Engineering;
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role, preferably in the oil and gas industry;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
• A proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective OHS management systems;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with OHS software.
