Job Description

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our facilities, including the Prinos Oil Field and the Epsilon Oil Field. This involves monitoring safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and developing procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Mining Engineering or Mineral Resources Engineering, a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role, and excellent communication skills in English and Greek.

• Act as the primary contact for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters at the Prinos Oil Field and Epsilon Oil Field;
• Develop and implement OHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, near-misses, and hazardous events, and conduct thorough investigations;
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions;
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Mining Engineering or Mineral Resources Engineering;
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role, preferably in the oil and gas industry;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
• A proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective OHS management systems;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with OHS software.
