QA Automation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products, ensuring product quality through exploratory and automated tests, and designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.

In this role, you will be involved with the design & development of our testing framework, understand the task at hand and propose the best testing approach for the circumstance, and support stakeholders with manual testing when necessary.

Requirements
  • University and/or Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field such as computer science or software engineering
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes including Agile/Scrum development process
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently and within a group
  • English language (both verbal and written)
Desired Technical Skills
  • Relevant working experience in software quality assurance and/or software development
  • Hands on experience with C# and solid understanding of CSS and Xpath
  • Ability to define STLC and prior experience in integration of automation testing with CI/CD pipelines
