Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Category Manager to join our team. As a Junior Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing and category management portfolio, as well as other relevant projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders. You will be part of a dynamic team that thrives in variety, quality, and value according to our high business standards.

About the Role
  • Manage the composition of a variety of products, focusing on improving efficiency and satisfying customer needs.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor price levels for products to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor the performance of products across all shops (retail, wholesale, franchise).
  • Maintain products' intended level of competence by staying up-to-date on product stock.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding products for the entire stores network, ensuring high-quality products under the best possible terms.
  • Be involved in configuring and maintaining action plans for your liability category.
  • Participate in designing and implementing promotional plans for your category in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or any relevant field; Master's degree considered an asset.
  • Working experience 2-4 years in a relevant position in the FMCG sector (preferably food) or product management category.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Sufficient knowledge of SAP considered an asset.
