Job Description

As a seasoned Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality software from concept to production. You will ensure the scalability and reliability of our infrastructure while working collaboratively with a diverse team towards common objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Additionally, they should be able to work effectively within a team environment, supporting projects funded by the European Commission and national research frameworks.

This individual will have the opportunity to drive initiatives for containerization and orchestration with tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as architect and implement system infrastructure using best practices in cloud services.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across multiple projects;
  • Implement user interface components and workflows using front-end languages and frameworks;
  • Develop and maintain server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end;
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
  • Deploy automation with CI/CD pipelines, facilitate smoother development cycles, and quicker deployments;
  • Monitor live systems and troubleshoot issues, ensuring system reliability and stability;
  • Contribute to the technical documentation;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features;
Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Full Stack Developer and 2+ years in DevOps;
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, React, or Vue;
  • Strong knowledge of server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .Net, or Go, including Spring Framework and Spring Boot is a prerequisite;
  • Hands-on knowledge in web development using at least one of the following: HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, or other responsive framework;
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns;
  • Experience with database technology such as MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch;
  • Skilled in DevOps methodologies and tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.);
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development;
