About the Role:
">The Lead Software Engineer in Test (SET) is a critical leadership position within our quality assurance and software development teams. This role combines advanced technical expertise in test automation and software development with strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of software engineers in test in the areas of automated testing, test architecture, and continuous integration.
">This leader will oversee the design, development, and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies that ensure the high quality, performance, and scalability of our software products. They will also leverage AI-driven testing tools to enhance automation, improve test coverage, and predict potential issues early in the development process.
">The successful candidate will have experience with AI-driven test automation tools like Mabl and proficiency in integrating AI technologies into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. They will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of SETs, providing technical guidance, support, and performance feedback.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Integrate AI-powered testing tools into test automation frameworks to enhance test coverage, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis.
- Develop and implement test strategies for new features, releases, and products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the design and maintenance of scalable and reliable automated test frameworks for UI, API, performance, and integration testing.
- Monitor the execution of automated tests in a continuous integration environment, analyze results, and ensure defects are properly tracked and resolved.
Requirements:
">To be considered, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in software development, test automation, or software quality engineering.
">Additionally, you should have solid understanding of software development, QA methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred).
">You will also need experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Maven, Gradle, Cucumber, Rest API, or similar, and experience integrating automated testing solutions with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or other relevant tools.
