Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Business Process and Applications development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing Java applications in a multi-tier enterprise environment. This includes contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

A day in the life of this role will include:

  • Designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable Java applications
  • Collaborating with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is delivered
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related subject
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in application development of enterprise IT software systems and applications
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Java Spring Framework in a commercial environment
  • Experience with client-side scripting and React/Redux JavaScript frameworks
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP integration
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, and RxJava
  • Knowledge of automated build tools such as Maven and Ant
  • Experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Java Servlet containers (Tomcat)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both on own initiative and within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
