Actuarial Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of actuarial models, ensuring accuracy and precision.

About the Role
  • This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and evaluating cutting-edge actuarial models.
  2. Developing and monitoring KPIs to ensure portfolio success.
  3. Conducting thorough actuarial studies and preparing presentations that provide clear, data-driven recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Actuarial Studies.
  • Professional Qualification: Actively progressing toward full Actuarial qualification.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Insurance or Consulting firm.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in actuarial modeling, and a deep understanding of MS Excel and actuarial modeling tools.
  • Programming Skills: Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SAS, R, and VBA.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Solvency II requirements and economic capital modeling principles.
  • Reporting: Ability to prepare well-structured, comprehensive reports in IFRS 17.
  • Analytical Mindset: A keen eye for detail, with the ability to organize, evaluate, and interpret complex data sets logically.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to address and solve complex business problems.
