Assistant Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Financial Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the smooth operation of our Accounting Departments, ensuring all accounting procedures and Group policies are always adhered to.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate financial reports on a monthly basis, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assess the financial performance of properties in relation to the budget.
  • Supervise the daily operations of both internal and outsourced accounting departments for our properties.
  • Verify compliance with established accounting procedures according to our policies, and validate the accuracy of cost center allocations.
  • Manage and oversee payments to vendors and collections from debtors.
  • Collaborate with various above-property and on-property departments within the company to facilitate the flow of financial information to different accounting offices.
  • Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor the implementation of contracts executed by our properties.
  • Support the approval process for expenditures and employee claims submitted by the operating departments of our properties.


Requirements:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • ACCA or similar professional certification will be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a strong emphasis on Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Strong understanding of cost control principles and budgeting.
  • Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with all cooperating teams.
