We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Logistics Associate in Japan.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in logistics and a strong understanding of Japanese culture and customs. As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of goods, communicating with suppliers and clients across Japan, and handling import and export procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare documentation for the delivery of goods and communicate effectively with logistics companies.

  • Cross-Cultural Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients across Japan, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

  • Import and Export Procedures: Handle all aspects of import and export procedures, including customs clearance and compliance.

  • Data Entry and Document Management: Accurately record and manage data related to imports and exports, and maintain electronic documents according to company standards.

  • Collaboration and Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics or Business Administration: Hold a degree in logistics or business administration, or a related field.

  • Experience in Logistics: Have at least 2 years of experience in the logistics sector.

  • Language Skills: Possess excellent knowledge of English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction.

  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
