As an Application Architect, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for the design and maintenance of effective technical solutions. The role includes designing applications and products for our clients, architecture comprising several components using the latest tools, technologies, and frameworks. You will work with existing and future clients to understand their challenges, explore, and propose effective solutions and develop long-term trusted relationships.

As an Application Architect, you will:
  1. Design major aspects of the application's architecture, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure.
  2. Provide technical leadership to the application development team.
  3. Perform design and code reviews.
  4. Ensure uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained.
  5. Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  6. Provide input on the development of schedules and test plans, preparation of documentation based on analyst reports, and defining key project milestones.
  7. Evaluate potential risks in projects.
  8. Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements.
Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for the job:
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in the ICT sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT architecture and solution/software design (application, data, infrastructure, network layers).
  • Expertise in the full development lifecycle of complex, large-scale, multi-user, and event-driven applications.
  • Strong experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, lean techniques).
  • Proficiency in web development using Angular or React (preferably with TypeScript).
  • Extensive experience with on-premise, virtualized, and cloud infrastructures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented design, design patterns, and interoperability technologies (e.g., web services, service bus).
  • Proficiency in testing (test cases, scripts, and test automation).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle SQL Developer).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes tooling (e.g., Helm) and containerization.
  • Cloud architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in technical presentations and multilingual collaboration.
