**Job Description**As a System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the company's IT infrastructure and systems. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and security of IT operations while supporting company growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Network and Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT networks, servers, and systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Software and Application Management: Manage enterprise software and applications to meet business needs, ensuring their continuous integration and operation.
  • Cybersecurity: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard company data and systems, including firewalls, encryption, and threat detection systems.
  • User Support (Help Desk): Provide support to employees by overseeing a responsive help desk team to resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Data Management and Backup: Ensure the protection and integrity of company data by implementing and managing reliable backup, recovery, and archiving solutions.
  • IT Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce IT policies in line with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Handle IT procurement, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible solutions and services.
  • Automation and Innovation: Drive automation initiatives to optimize IT processes and support digital transformation within the organization.
RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate with:
  • Proven experience in managing IT operations, networks, and systems for medium to large-scale enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity practices, including risk assessment, incident response, and compliance with security standards.
  • Proficiency in managing enterprise software and applications.
  • Experience with data management and backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualization technologies considered a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
