Cloud Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Expert to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing performance, ensuring security, and driving innovation in our cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources.
  • Lead efforts to enhance cloud security and compliance.
  • Manage solutions encompassing operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in the operation and administration of large-scale enterprise services.
  • 3+ years of experience with implementing and managing cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud)
  • Advanced knowledge of operating system fundamentals for Microsoft Windows and Linux, networking, and security.
  • Extensive experience with scripting and automation (Bicep or Terraform is preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Expertise in data centre management and migrations.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of successful cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC.
  • Professional certifications in cloud computing.
