Network Engineer Position Overview

A leading healthcare provider seeks a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot its local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing and switching with knowledge of Enterprise LAN/WAN and Data Center technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and installing various network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and VPNs. They will also monitor system performance and ensure high availability and business continuity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in routing and switching with knowledge of Enterprise LAN/WAN and Data Center technologies
  • Hands-on experience in IP routing including TCP/IP and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
  • Experience in Cisco Switching, Cisco 2960, Cisco 9000 series and Cisco Nexus
  • Network & Security Certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP and Fortinet NSE4-7 are highly desirable
