Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Your primary responsibilities will include negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and managing procurement contracts.

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and pricing standards.
• Understand the specific needs and requirements of technical projects, including construction and asset management.
• Issue RFQs and RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate terms and prices with suppliers.
• Place and monitor procurement orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Evaluate the quality of received goods and services, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
• Implement and adhere to our company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Incorporate items and orders into our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing procurement practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction or asset management company.
• Familiarity with technical specifications and standards in engineering and construction.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and contract management.
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Familiarity with procurement management systems, such as ERP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Very good use of English, both verbally and in writing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
