Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Athens. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial models, as well as gathering and interpreting technical, financial, and economic data for strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements and be proficient in using MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience with financial models and cash flow analysis is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related metrics.
  • Conducting economic analysis for existing/new projects across our areas of operations.
  • Analyzing financial metrics in specific projects (revenue, profitability, cost, etc.).
  • Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Researching industry trends and analyzing economic factors such as inflation, foreign exchange, and commodity prices.
  • Supporting in credit processes, loan monitoring, and reporting for lenders and banks.
  • Supporting in debt raising activities, including company presentations, financial modeling, due diligence, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting, banking, or advisory.
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written communication).
  • Knowledge of Greek language is favorable.
