We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team in Athens. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and be proficient in various cooking techniques.

The Cook will primarily be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. This will involve using various cooking methods to prepare meals that meet customers' expectations, handling multiple food orders simultaneously without compromising on quality, and ensuring great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.

  • Reports to Executive Chef & Sous Chef
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One or more years working experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality sector
  • Degree / Diploma in culinary art
  • Good knowledge of English language

You will also need to demonstrate:

  • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Pleasant personality, guest oriented
