About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data into various systems.
  • Utilize PySpark and Spark SQL in Notebooks to process and analyze datasets in distributed computing environments.
  • Support the use of orchestration tools like Apache Airflow to schedule and monitor data workflows.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to ensure seamless data integration across systems.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing data validation mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to data processing and system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in data engineering.
  • Experience working in cloud platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
  • Basic experience with PySpark and Spark SQL for processing and querying datasets.
  • Familiarity with using Notebooks for testing data workflows.
  • Understanding of Apache Airflow or similar tools for managing data workflows.
  • Basic understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
