Assistant Group Controller

Are you a skilled and experienced accounting professional looking for a challenging role in the hospitality industry? As an Assistant Group Controller, you will play a vital part in overseeing the smooth operation of our properties' Accounting Departments.

  • Generate timely and accurate financial reports to ensure key stakeholders receive the necessary information.
  • Assess the financial performance of our properties and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise the daily operations of internal and outsourced accounting departments to guarantee compliance with established procedures.
  • Manage payments to vendors and collections from debtors while maintaining accurate cost center allocations.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position, preferably with a background in cost control or financial analysis.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • ACCA or similar professional certification will be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a strong emphasis on Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
