At Upstream, we are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team in Athens, Greece. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions using a modern JavaScript tech-stack.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with experience in designing and implementing efficient software modules, translating business specifications into code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing well-structured, testable, and efficient software modules
  • Translating business requirements and designs into high-quality code
  • Creating reusable components for the frontend component library
  • Preparing and producing releases of software modules
  • Troubleshooting and supporting existing products and infrastructure
Requirements:Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and popular frameworks such as React, Angular, and Express
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive design
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to multitask and prioritize activities effectively
