Geoscience Data Lead

We are seeking an experienced Geoscience Data Lead to join our team. This key role involves overseeing the collection, storage, and distribution of geoscience data. The successful candidate will ensure that seismic data, well data, spatial data (including Arc GIS), and other relevant technical information are properly stored, organized, and accessible to support exploration and production activities.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and maintaining the company's geophysical and geological databases, ensuring data integrity.
  • Overseeing the storage, retrieval, and archiving of seismic data, well logs, and other G&G datasets.
  • Implementing and enforcing data management policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating the distribution and accessibility of G&G data to internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting data requests from geologists, geophysicists, and other technical staff.

Data Governance Specialist

The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for implementing and enforcing data management policies and procedures. This includes conducting regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of G&G data. The specialist will also work with geoscientists and engineers to resolve data discrepancies and issues.
