Job Overview: A senior finance professional is required to collaborate with departments, providing financial management guidance and advice. This role entails supporting line managers in achieving financial targets and contributing to budget development and financial steering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with departments to provide proactive financial support and contribute to the achievement of financial targets.
• Work closely with line managers to develop a financial strategy that drives business performance.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and month-end close processes by working closely with directors and providing necessary data.
• Be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, performing various analyses of financial indicators, and preparing weekly rolling estimates.
• Support directors in resolving concerns related to financial performances, understanding performance drivers, and providing projections for future growth.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as required, covering both finance and commerce departments' needs.
• Ensure compliance with established processes, policies, and controls according to the risk and control framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with hands-on experience in product category financial analysis, tracking COGS savings, promo evaluation, and business case preparation.
• Ability to analyze and present complex financial information to senior management.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to understand, challenge, and inform investment decisions.
• Retail/FMCG experience is considered an asset.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a relevant field; Master's degree is considered an asset.
• ACCA certification (or equivalent) is considered an asset.
• Experience in SAP, Hyperion, Power BI is considered an asset.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
