At Prisma Electronics, we are looking for a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in coding, testing, and debugging system software, as well as reviewing code and design.

  • Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
  • Develop, test, and debug system software
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
  • Integrate and validate new product designs
  • Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven working experience in software engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on embedded targets
  • Solid programming skills in C or C++
  • Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
