Power Market Analyst Position

We are seeking an expert in power market analysis to join our team. As a Power Market Analyst, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our short-term power market optimization and long-term energy forecasting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of sophisticated forecasting models to predict energy needs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Monitor competitive activities and assist in formulating short-term power market strategies.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns that inform energy planning decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in wholesale energy markets (DAM, Balancing) a plus.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, or VBA required.
