Finance Junior Specialist

Financial Analyst responsible for providing essential finance support to the local office, the EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) System & EMESA Region, and the Global Services teams. The role involves accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with BCG policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running day-to-day accounting operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.
• Maintaining the general ledger, preparing and posting journal entries, and ensuring accuracy of data interfaced from other systems.
• Preparing accounts' reconciliations, analyzing monthly and annual reports, and monitoring budget vs actuals of expenses cycles.
• Reviewing personnel's travel and other expenses' claims, supporting Accounts Payable, and ensuring compliance with internal processes and policies.
• Overseeing payment process for suppliers and expenses, ensuring clients are invoiced as per contract terms, and providing support on case economics and client contract management.
• Supporting the Finance team in implementing Global Risk Management procedures and ensuring all transactions and processes comply with BCG policies and local regulations.
• Managing ad-hoc requests from Leadership Team and Finance Teams, and taking part in special projects with global visibility.

Requirements:

• Relevant prior experience (3 years ideally) in a multinational company within the same area.
• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Expertise with Statutory financial accounting and reporting systems, with familiarity with US GAAP a plus.
• Very good communication skills, both written and oral, in Greek and English.
• Strong analytical, ownership, and accountability skills, with the ability to manage high-sensitive data.
• Relevant team-working skills and attitude to work in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment.
