    key responsibilities

    • Contribute, where necessary, to other tasks of the AFC Function
    • Participate in companyâs trainings.
    • Manage the work of the Unit in all aspects related to the area above.
    • Support operationally with the estimation of risk analytics, relative KPIs.
    • Support operationally with the development, deployment, and maintenance of models that are used for ris management, risk valuation, and financial/regulatory reporting purposes.
    • Study risk relative scientific and regulatory national and EU documents. Collect, collate and evaluate scientific data from a range of sources.
    • Advise on risk data aggregation framework, support risk data strategy and risk data infrastructure, processes and systems to support analysis and reporting requirements.
    • Support in the development of an internal risk control framework for core business processes.
    • Responsible for ensuring the business is compliant with core risk policies, processes, through KPIs monitoring and control checks.
    • Building in-house capability to assess and model the impact of market changes to risk KPIs and making recommendations for possible mitigations (in cooperation with other Functions of the Company)
    • Provide advice about Risk control to other Units of the Company.
    • Interpret risk policy changes and ensure that they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures.
    • Cooperate with other Units for fulfilling the tasks assigned.
    • Other tasks as requested by the Head and the Manager.

      experience

      At least 1 year of relevant professional experience

      qualifications

      • Solid academic background in a quantitative field, including Economics and Finance, Mathematics Econometrics, Engineering, Data Science.
      • Relative M.Sc. or/and Ph.D. will be considered an asset.
      • 1+ years of experience in data analysis and risk management.
      • Strong proficiency in SQL, R, or Python.
      • Experience with data visualization tools.
      • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
      • Sound understanding of data structures; excellent command of data transformations.
      • Advanced working knowledge of at least one quantitative analysis tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python wil be highly regarded.
      • Excellent computer skills, a proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
      • Solid presentation and writing skills in both English and Greek. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple teams an functions.
      • Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills.
      • Project management skills.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
      • Attention to detail is the fundamental basis of the role
